Juvenile and family law and consequences can be complicated, overwhelming, serious, and costly. Our youth and advocacy legal services are available to help ease that burden. We will independently research your child's case and connect you to additional affordable resources in order to advocate for the child with the ultimate goal of overall wellness. Our program is unique in that we look at your child's case and unique circumstances and history from multiple angles in order to provide documentation to the court system compiled of expert contributions from professionals in psychology and social work, sociologists, scholars, and additional community resources and advocates. Your child's advisor will be available to attend meetings as a Child Advocate pertaining to their case with parental/guardian consent whenever the law permits and will attend court appearances with advanced notice for Georgia and Tennessee residents.

 

If your child is convicted of a crime and assigned to a Probation Officer or Community Service Program we will facilitate communication with the Officer and Department of Juvenile Justice, assist with realistic community service opportunities, and meet regularly with both the child and parent/guardian to ensure that both are in compliance with the terms of probation and meeting all expectations.

 

Our goal is to protect your child and assist in facilitating growth opportunities throughout their legal experience from start to finish. Additionally, our goal is to help prevent legal entanglements going forward by addressing the personal challenges your child is facing and creating a safety and behavioral plan with continued mentoring and accountability. Although legal entanglements can feel discouraging, or even daunting, it is vital to remember that you and your child are not alone, and CM/A+A legal servies team members are ready to compassionately and fiercely advocate and support your child and family through this experience.
